
Chuck Sapp, CPA, CAE
Chuck Sapp brings more than 25 years of executive leadership and financial management expertise to his role as Chief Financial Officer of Momentum Association Management. A Certified Public Accountant, Chuck has built his career guiding associations through financial optimization, governance, and organizational transformation.
Prior to joining Momentum, Chuck served as Executive Director of the American Board of Clinical Social Work, where he led the organization through a major structural transformation, launched its first annual conference, and expanded certification and education programs. He spent 14 years at Talley Management Group, directing association management services for more than two dozen nonprofit clients and serving as Executive Director for the International Federation of Fertility Societies. Earlier in his career, Chuck was Executive Vice President of the Federation of Animal Science Societies and CFO of the American Dairy Science Association, where he oversaw multimillion-dollar budgets and complex governance transitions.
In addition to his professional roles, Chuck has provided CPA services to businesses for over three decades, specializing in tax strategy and compliance. His breadth of experience across nonprofit management, fiscal oversight, and board leadership makes him a trusted advisor to both clients and colleagues.
Chuck holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
