As President and Co-Founder of Momentum Association Management, Joe leads internal operations, service delivery, and new business efforts. Under his leadership, Momentum has grown into a full-service association management company serving more than 15 client partners across a wide range of professional societies, trade associations, and certification organizations. A technology superuser, Joe stays current on the latest technology that moves both Momentum and its clients forward. Joe has served as Executive Director for eight different associations, including leading a strategic segment of certification-based associations that delivered examinations to over 5,000 individuals annually. He successfully led the American Institute of Constructors in converting its examinations to computer-based testing while also achieving ANSI accreditation. As Executive Director of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV), he expanded the organization from 600 to 2,000 members in just four years, during which time ISEV's annual revenue grew from $700,000 to $2 million. Prior to co-founding Momentum, Joe spent 18 years at Talley Management Group, ultimately leading the company as COO and President. Joe earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in 2014 from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and currently serves on ASAE's CAE Commission. He was named to the Association Forum of Chicagoland's prestigious Forty Under 40 list and is the Immediate Past President of the Mid-Atlantic Society of Association Executives (MASAE). A former student-athlete at Northern Illinois University, Joe earned three varsity letters on the Huskie wrestling team. Joe lives in Madison, WI, with his partner, Rebekah, spending his free time with his young son, Teddy, Step Kids – Reuben and Jade, and Golden Retriever, Ernie. A lifelong Cubs fan, Joe is also a big supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles and Everton Football Club.
