Joe Sapp

Joe Sapp, MBA, CAE, has spent his career helping associations grow and thrive through association management and building successful partnerships with volunteer leaders. Prior to Momentum, Joe served as President of a 75 person AMC that served over 30 associations, many international. With nearly 20 years of association management experience, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge to drive growth and innovation for associations.

In his previous company, Joe rose from entry level to company President leading the company to record growth. Joe implemented the strategic vision for the company and providing a guiding hand for the Senior Leadership Team.

Joe earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in 2014 from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). The same year, Joe was named to the Association Forum of Chicagoland’s prestigious Forty Under 40 List. Joe is the Past-President of the Mid-Atlantic Society of Association Executives (MASAE), the local affiliate of ASAE. A former student-athlete at Northern Illinois University, where Joe earned three Varsity Letters on the Huskie Wrestling Team. Outside of work you will find you with his young son Teddy, his 10 year old Golden Retriever, Ernie or is 1 year old Bernese Mountain Dog, Kuma.
